Players will need to battle her and her massive posse of minions, and this chapter won’t be an easy one. In order to be ready for this battle, make sure to fill up on healing staffs like Physics and movement staffs like Entraps.

The Map of the Story Quest Chapter 25 of Fire Emblem Engage

The cutscene before this battle is all about how Divine Dragon Queen Lumera became a Corrupted. Alear will need to take her on, even though it is her own mother. The battle begins with Lumera summoning a whole mess of Corrupted to help her out.

While most of the units are pretty standard, there are a handful scattered around with Freeze staffs. There are many archers, so players should be aware that they can be attacked by them through walls; keep Fire Emblem flying units out of their reach. On the other hand, any allied Long Bow users can also hit enemies through those same walls. There are four Corrupted Wyrms again, but these things are bigger and badder than any players have seen before. They have the same range, the same massive hits that ignore defense and resistance, but this time they come with Revival Stones. There are breakable doors between the middle lane and two of the Wyrms. There is one unit in the middle with a Fracture staff. There is a unit to the right of the map near the Wyrm with an Entrap. This unit can drag a player’s unit into the reach of the Corrupted Wyrm, so players will want to stay out of its reach; thankfully, it doesn’t have Anchor, so use an Entrap on it first before it can grab an ally. On a giant set of Protection tiles all the way in the back of the room sites Lumera and her retinue. She is flanked by two healers with Physic staffs, and two Magical units with a Thoron and a Meteor, respectively. Next to them on either side are two of the four total Wyrms. They appear to be blocked from moving unless the healers move first because of the shape of the hallway. In front of the Lumera herself is a Dragon unit with Anchor. She has two Revival Stones, meaning she has three health bars. Lumera also has very solid defense and resistance, and the addition of the Protection Tile doesn’t help matters. Her physical attack stats are high, but she has no magic. Lumera has two weapons; one is a Silver Spirit Art and the other is a powerful, Divine Dragon-only sword that she will drop. This sword, called Wille Glanz hit very hard and has 1-2 range.

Players get 14 total units, spit into two groups of seven. This means all 15 Emblems in Fire Emblem Engage can come along if players have the DLC bracelets. Players will want to put both healers and tanks in both groups; make sure to give each staff user a Physic to allow for long-distance healing.

The Battle of Story Quest Chapter 25 of Fire Emblem Engage

At the start of battle, all the enemies that aren’t in Lumera’s room will engage immediately. The Wyrms also will not move up and cannot be Entrapped. On turn 3, Lumera will paint most of the ground purple with a threat radius for a Divine Dragon blast wave. Units that don’t hide behind pillars will suffer about 20%-100% of their health in damage; user-made obstructions don’t block this beam. Players will have a whole turn to move out of the way, but they should be careful of units with Freeze staffs that keep them from moving.

Not thieves appear to open the treasure chests until after turn 6; there is going to be one in the east and one in the west. Extra units pop out of the stairs in the middle of the map on this turn as well. After turn 7, additional enemy units spawn in the stairs by players’ starting areas and Lumera will ready her Divine Dragon beam again. Make sure to move units from the purple spots on the ground.

After enemy turn 8 in this tactical RPG like Final Fantasy Tactics, there will be two more thieves; these spawn from the center staircase. These thieves will attack player units, so be careful of them. They are after the loot inside the two treasure chests, which are:

Treasure Chest Left: Cinqueadea, the S-Rank dagger than is range 1-2. Treasure Chest Right: Dracoshield, which gives a unit +2 defense permanently.

Lumera will continue to spawn units and attack with her laser until the battle is completed.
