Players diving into Fire Emblem: Three Houses will meet Seteth pretty quickly, as he is introduced when players reach Garreg Mach Monastery for the first time. As the right hand of the Archbishop, Seteth is very stern and takes a distrusting attitude toward the main protagonist from the start. He often adopts a cut-and-dry approach when talking to the player, and while this may be off-putting to some players, many have grown quite fond of the green-haired Monastery supervisor.

During the first parts of the game, Seteth will give players requests in own his grumpy way, which is where the memes come in. Some members of the Fire Emblem fanbase have taken to creating spoof messages from Seteth to the main character, which Whitten then decided to lend his voice to.
Needless to say, Fire Emblem fans have flocked to these memes on most social media platforms. Players that recruit Seteth to their house can spend a long time around him during Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ lengthy story campaign so many are loving the jokes about this otherwise serious character. While Seteth slowly lowers his guard down as the player forms a bond with him, making fun of his matter-of-fact way of speaking never really gets old.
When not making fun of pivotal Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters, many players are busy finding the best ways to spend their free days or figuring out who to form closer bonds with. Three Houses has a much heavier focus on social elements compared to previous installments, so forming social bonds with characters - like Seteth - are even more important this time around. With players forming such close bonds with these characters, it’s no surprise that they have started making fun of some of the main cast. Perhaps Seteth will get a break soon enough when the fanbase decides on their next target to make memes about.
