Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a hack and slash action RPG developed by Omega Force and published by Nintendo. Set in the same world as Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but in a different timeline, the game follows a mercenary named Shez. Their survival when they should have died sets new events in motion and drastically alters the events of the original story.
Flycatcher
An excellent spear for giving any spear wielder additional coverage, the Fly Catcher is a D-rank spear with an inherent bonus against flying units. This can be useful when dealing with pegasus knights and especially wyvern riders whose axes would pose a threat under normal circumstances.
Flycatcher can be found as the S-Rank reward for a mission after chapter 6 in Azure Gleam, and can also be found randomly when defeating demonic beasts and enemy commanders past that point.
Blessed Lance
A monster killer with additional utility via its regenerative properties, the Blessed Lance is an excellent option when going into maps with monsters, or to help a unit keep their health topped in a fight via its inherent skill “Holy Glow”.
The Blessed Lance is available as an S-Rank reward from a mission in Chapter 6 of Scarlet Blaze, and can also be found as a random drop from enemy commanders and demonic beasts.
Arrow Of Indra
This lance, created with ancient technology, is a useful pick for characters whose magic stats exceed their strength. Its inherent skill “Lightning Crash” causes all damage it does to be calculated using the unit’s magic stat, and also causes strong attacks to periodically conjure lightning magic.
This makes it excellent for dealing with crowds and inflicting the shocked status effect. The spear can be acquired by S-ranking a mission in chapter 11 of Azure Gleam, chapter 12 of Scarlet Blaze, and chapter 13 of Golden Wildfire.
Lance Of Zoltan
A mighty spear found as an S-rank reward from a mission in the final chapter of all three routes, the Lance of Zoltan has excellent base stats and can be found already upgraded to +10 when acquired as an S-rank reward.
This makes it fantastic as a weapon for any spear wielder, though there is one better spear for general use.
Gradivus
A returning weapon of tremendous power, Gradivus has the best base stats of any spear in the game, on par with even sacred and relic weapons that have had their true power awakened. Gradivus is a special weapon, most easily acquired via a supply point on the map during chapter 12 of Azure Gleam as a broken A-Rank lance.
Repairing it at the blacksmith will reveal its true form. It can also be found as a rare drop from Demonic Beasts, or inside treasure chests, though it will always initially appear as a broken A-rank lance.
Scythe of Sariel
The Death Knight’s Weapon of choice returns with a vengeance, as an A-rank weapon with an inherent “Boost Critical Lv 3” to make it even deadlier. Despite its use by the Death Knight throughout Three Houses, acquiring it in Three Hopes will take until Chapter 12 in Scarlet Blaze, where it can be acquired by S-ranking a mission.
It can also be acquired in chapter 13 of Azure Gleam in the same way and found in a supply spot in the final chapter of Golden Wildfire. With a little upgrading, this spear’s natural critical chance boost can tear through enemies like butter.
Areadbhar
An exceptionally powerful Hero’s Relic, Areadbhar gains the" Lethal Blow" effect when its effects are unlocked. This allows the wielder to deal damage to enemies even when they are guarding. Additionally, if the wielder has the Crest of Blaiddyd they can use the combat art “Atrocity,” which is effective against everything and deals excellent damage.
As it’s possible to give a unit the crest of Blaiddyd via NG+ items known as “Dragon Signs,” this weapon can be wielded to it’s full potential by any unit on a second playthrough. Areadbhar can be obtained by reaching chapter 4 of the Azure Gleam route, at which point it will be equipped to Dimitri automatically.
Luin
Hero’s Relic of Daphnel, Luin has excellent stats and the “Scorch” effect once its effects are unlocked. This causes heavy attacks with the weapon to periodically cast the spell “Bolganone,” creating a fire blast.
It also allows the wielder to use the Burning Quake combat art if they bear the Crest of Daphnel, an unblockable attack that deals fire damage. To acquire Luin simply reach chapter 4 of the Azure Gleam route, at which point it will be equipped to Ingrid automatically.
Lance Of Ruin
The Hero’s Relic of Gautier, this spear was one of the first relics seen in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It has excellent stats and the “Impulse” skill when its effects are unlocked.
This greatly increases the critical hit rate of all combat arts, including its special combat art “Ruined Sky.” Ruined Sky is an unblockable attack that is effective against flyers, and can be used as long as the wielder of the Lance of Ruin has the Crest of Gautier.
