The Support System mirrors that of Fire Emblem:Three Houses. This means there are cut-offs for some characters’ Supports, and some Support Ranks won’t be unlocked until Part 2 of each route in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. These are indicated by a yellow lock on the Supports menu. Thus, it’s important for players to have their units build strong bonds with one another before reaching Chapter 10. Fortunately, there are more ways to increase Supports between characters than in Three Houses.

8 Gift-Giving
When shopping at the Item Shopkeeper at camp, players can purchase Gifts. These are expendable items that can be given to other units. Each Gift has its own description that will hint at who might appreciate them. For example, the Floral Adornment is appreciated by someone who likes flowers, so characters such as Dedue and Marianne will like receiving them more than those who dislike flowers. Characters receiving a Liked Gift will give Shez two Support points, while Disliked and Neutral Gifts only give one support point.
More Gifts will become available at the Item Shopkeeper as long as players remember to upgrade the Facility. At most, Shez can buy five of each Gift at the store. They will restock at the start of every chapter.
7 Sharing a Meal
Once the Kitchen Master Facility has been unlocked, Shez will be able to cook a meal for two other units. This will increase Support points between all three characters. Cooking is ranked on a 3-point system: NICE, GREAT, and PERFECT. Fortunately, units will receive the effects of a meal regardless of how well Shez’s cooking turns out.
If Shez cooks a meal that ranks NICE, then characters will receive a small boost in Support Points. If they receive GREAT, they’ll receive a moderate amount of Support Points. A PERFECT meal will increase support points significantly.
Shez can increase the chances of cooking a successful meal by upgrading the Kitchen Master Facility. Characters also have favorite foods, so keep this in mind when selecting. Choosing to cook will consume one Activity Point.
6 Completing Chores
Much like the Kitchen Master, the Chore Master raises the Supports between three characters instead of two. There are some tasks that characters are better at than others, which influences the rate of success. When using the Chore Master to boost Supports, avoid selecting tasks that have a red arrow next to a character’s profile. This will lower the chance of getting a Perfect or Great Rank. Since this is an Activity, doing chores will take up an Activity Point.

Characters will be unable to complete a chore after working. To “refresh” this, complete a battle/quest, then return to camp. They should be available to work afterward.
5 Train Together
Players will have Activity and Training Points once they unlock the camp in Chapter 4. These increase based on the overall Rank of the Camp. At S Rank, players will have a total of 8 Activity and Training Points per chapter. Unlike the Chore Master and the Kitchen Master, the Training Instructor uses Training Points.
When using the Training Instructor, players will start off with 4 different training slots. Expanding the Facility can double the number of training slots. Only two units can train together (per slot), and the growth of their Supports is ranked on the Nice-Great-Perfect system from the Chore/Kitchen Master. Units can also be swapped out so that players can raise Supports for multiple characters at once. Furthermore, unlike Activity Point-facilities, units can train again and again until all Training Points are used up.
4 Going on Expeditions
Expeditions are the last of the three Activities around camp. Going on an Expedition will use an Activity Point, but sometimes players will be notified of a character that will want to go on an Expedition. Choosing to spend time with them will double the Support Points received, so take advantage of this whenever. More areas can be unlocked by using the Facility Master.
During an Expedition, players are to select an area to visit with their chosen character. Then, they’ll have the chance to Talk or Ask A Question. Selecting the right responses will result in a Perfect Conversation. This will allow players the option to Give a Gift. Finally, Expeditions will add a point or two towards both Shez and the Expedition character’s Charm, which is a stat that influences the effectiveness of battalions.

3 Equipping Abilities
If a character has the Kinship Ability equipped, it’ll be easier for them to receive Support Points in battle. This is learned by reaching Rank 1 of the Priest Class, which can be unlocked with an Intermediate Seal after mastering the Monk Class. Unfortunately, only the following units can learn Kinship:
Black Eagles: Edelgard, Hubert, Ferdinand, Linhardt Blue Lions: Dimitri, Felix, Sylvain, Annette, Ingrid Golden Deer: Marianne, Lysithea
2 Surveying the War Map
Those that take the time to liberate all sections of the War Map per chapter may find themselves rewarded. Some territories will have a green/white star icon under their Rewards section, such as the lake icon. By inspecting this territory in a Cleared Area, players will have the option to raise the support levels of two units.
Selecting one unit will show them which characters they’re compatible with and how far along they are in their current Rank. Once the territory has been explored, players won’t be able to visit it again, so choose wisely. Also, bear in mind that the more areas cleared on the War Map, the fewer Renown players will receive upon completing the chapter’s Main Quest.
1 Assign as Adjutant
Similar to Three Houses’ Adjutant mechanic and Fire Emblem Warriors (2017) pair-up, the Adjutants option in Three Hopes will remove that unit from the map and have them “assigned” to another unit. This will allow the paired units to perform a duo-Warrior Special, which also increases their Support Points. There are some unique Abilities (such as Safeguard) that will heal or give experience to the non-active unit.
To assign an adjutant in battle, pause with (+) and hover over the unit with the cursor. Players should then select them with A and then drag the arrow over to another unit. Click ZR, and a window will pop up with multiple options (Heal, Assign as Adjutant, Defend, etc). Select Assign as Adjutant. To unassign/change the active unit, hover over the duo, select ZR again, and then Unassign Adjutant or Change Adjutant.
