Photos and videos of the footage were circulating on social media, just in time for the film’s panel.

The video footage unveiled by Paramount Pictures showcases the cast of Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, including Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant. Pine appears to be a bard, who isn’t afraid to lift a sword when necessary. Rodriguez on the other hand is battle ready from the get-go, wielding a massive battle axe and nailing the Viking look. Page seems like the knight with a sword and heavy armor, Smith appears to be the wizard in the group, whereas Lillis seems like a ranger. Grant makes the final appearance in the sizzle reel, as he holds a torch and sips some tea, all while looking quite menacing.
Apart from the footage, guests also spotted a Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves poster hanging at the tavern. The poster offers a look at some of the monsters and creatures that will likely make an appearance in the fantasy film. The stylistic poster created by designer BossLogic has the beasts wrapped up in an ampersand symbol, which is typically used as part of the Dungeons and Dragons title. The poster lists the names of the cast members and confirms a 2023 exclusive theatrical release date.
Not a lot of details related to the Dungeons and Dragons film have been revealed so far. It is, however, confirmed that Grant will be portraying the role of the main villain Forge Fletcher. Based on an unofficial synopsis that has been doing the rounds online, the film will focus on Pine’s character forming a team of thieves to help him “rob a conman who stole all their loot.” It remains to be seen how accurate that will be.
Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is scheduled to premiere in theaters on March 3, 2023.
