That’s according to a recent video in which producer Anna Lundgren spoke about the topic on the official Minecraft YouTube channel. A user who goes by T.P. asked what had happened to the fireflies that were due to be added to the game. Lundgren said that they were supposed to be implemented alongside frogs, with the bugs serving as food for the amphibians. However, after some feedback, it turned out that some fireflies can actually be poisonous to frogs, which caused Mojang to reconsider adding them, though Lungdern did go on to say that they are still in the pipeline....

The Hulu film, based on the true life story of a string of murders in the early 1960s in the Boston Area, stars Knightley and Coon as Loretta McLaughlin and Jean Cole, two investigative reporters for the Record American who coined the killer’s famous name and helped bring the primary suspect, Albert DeSalvo, to justice. Depicting one of the most famous murder sprees of the 20th century, Boston Strangler was written and directed by Matt Ruskin (Crown Heights) and produced by Ridley Scott for 20th Century Studios....

The gameplay footage on show is apparently from several hours into the game. A narrator states that it typifies the “epic, personal stories” that are made possible thanks to the next generation of the Nemesis system that was utilized to great effect in its predecessor. Fans of True Detective have been clamoring for information on the upcoming season of the HBO crime series. The new season is being helmed by Tigers Are Not Afraid director Issa López. The director, with an eye toward urban grit and the vaguely supernatural menace of her film, fits the world fans wanted more of after True Detective season one’s King in Yellow subplot. True Detective, HBO’s crime anthology series created by Nic Pizzolato, is gearing up for another run of twisty, dark episodes dealing with the worst humanity has to offer....

A team of scientists from both robotics company Sunfish Inc. and Sealaska Heritage Institute discovered the weir in Shakan Bay on the west side of Prince of Wales Island. The weir was first detected using sonar in 2010 but has now been confirmed as being a fish trap. Other stone weirs have been discovered around southeast Alaska, but this marks the oldest one ever found, and the first to be confirmed underwater in North America....
